You've certainly heard of the cloud more times than you can count, but it's not something you've heard much about. The basic idea is that data is stored locally, or separately from the computer in use and that it can be accessed safely through the internet from anywhere. Consider how Google Drive and Dropbox operate: you can access your files from any device that is linked to the internet and signed into your account. Isn't it easy enough? The problem is that an enterprise cloud solution, when applied to IT, is a somewhat different approach than a conventional on-premise office network. It is, however, a term similar to Cloud Storage, albeit on a much larger and more reliable scale.

A Real Business Application – What does our Cloud do?

We use cloud technology to provide a business solution that allows you to host the entire network infrastructure, software, and data system in the cloud. Cloud Desktop is how we refer to it. In essence, the company's servers and processing power are housed in a cloud data center, to which you and your staff have remote access. Consider your current IT infrastructure and then imagine it in a cloud data center. You link to it through the internet rather than via cables in your office walls, and you don't need any fancy hardware on-site to do so.

An employee at a company that uses our cloud system, for example, will come into work, sit at their desk, and connect to their high-powered computer/workstation in the cloud using their physical computer. It may seem to be a difficult idea, but it is actually a more straightforward (fewer steps) and efficient method of setting up and managing business IT systems.

While it may seem that storing technological business resources in the cloud is less secure than using an in-house server, it actually provides a much more secure environment in many situations. Consider the server in your office while thinking about physical protection. It could be in a closet or a storage space, or even somewhere more safe. Using cloud products to manage IT systems gives you a simple, user-friendly interface that makes stuff like managing permissions, adding users, and adding storage and resources a breeze.

 

6) Hardware Agnostic

Although it can sound like a fancy word, hardware-agnostic refers to the fact that you can work from almost any computer and get the same computing experience. You can save money by not having to purchase the most up-to-date hardware. You're operating on a high-powered computer in the cloud, regardless of which system you're using. If you have a local hardware issue, you simply switch to another machine in the office or buy a new one, log back in, and resume your work.

 

7) Disaster Readiness

What will happen if your office/workspace were to suffer a catastrophe right now? When will your network be up and running again, and when will you/your staff be able to resume work? A problem or accident affecting your office won't hurt your network infrastructure in the cloud if you use a reliable cloud solution. And, since the data is backed up by several cloud servers, even if one of them goes down, you'll still be able to access your network data.

 

8) No Server Maintenance, or Servers at all!

In the past, it was normal for corporate offices and companies to have one or more servers on their premises. Not any more! The use of cloud computing removes the need for on-premise servers. To link to the internet and your cloud servers in Nepal and workstation environment, all you need is a desktop computer, laptop, tablet, or smartphone. This saves companies a lot of money on hardware purchases, updates, and maintenance.

 

9) Minimal Intervention

Our clients usually face far fewer problems and troubleshooting while operating with a cloud solution, based on our experience. As a result of encountering fewer issues, less effort and assistance should be needed, resulting in lower overall IT costs. Don't think about billable hours or other variable costs adding up to a large IT bill; just focus on your one low monthly fee.
