What the media has shown: Toni Kroos said that he found the mask celebration of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to be ridiculous, and openly criticised that.

Reality: It was Toni's brother Felix Kroos who made that statement in Toni's podcast which included him, and Toni replied "Yes". (If you doubt that, you could check the podcast on Spotify, provided you have some patience)

I don't agree with whatever Felix Kroos has said. The celebrations go over-the-top at times , which is true, but to take out names and criticise them in the open is absolutely needless. (I would say the same if Toni Kroos made this statement and not Felix)

Well you know how the media behaves in general, and how biased they can be in the case of Real Madrid players. One source publishes an article with something modified, and all other websites post the same. Many people fall into that trap, and this time the person who's on the receiving end, Aubameyang Pierre-Emerick also fell into the trap.

He looked to be very upset with this remark and he made a tweet saying "By the way
Does this @ToniKroos have Kids? Just to remember i did it for my son few Times and i will do it again. I wish you have Kids one day and make them happy like this Junior School pupils Talk ???? and don’t Forget #maskon #staysafe ?bis"

This is a disgraceful tweet made by Aubameyang, and it is completely irresponsible on his part to not verify the news. As they say "Half knowledge is very dangerous."

▪️There was absolutely no need to involve Kroos family here, by asking "Does this Toni Kroos have kids?" I lost my respect for him the moment I read that.

▪️I respect you as a player, I respect you for your contribution to the society and your charity work, and you have every right to feel proud of your work. But the way you've undermined Toni Kroos by saying "I wish you have Kids one day and make them happy like this Junior School pupils Talk " is unacceptable. If you're doing something for children, it's good, but the way you're thinking that nobody else is doing the work you do is absolute bs. Charity is done for a noble cause, not to boast about it, or compare your contribution with others and undermine other's contribution.

Tha answer is simple, Toni Kroos has kids, and he knows how important it is to make his kids happy. And he also knows how to make many more kids happy, which is visible from the work he is doing through his 'Toni Kroos foundation'.

Above all, he knows how to maintain class.

I hope you too #staysafe #maskon and not believe everything you read on the media.

P.S. As fans, we shouldn't fall for everything we read and go bashing our own players, without verifying what's true and what isn't.

And shame on people who went to the extent of calling Kroos a 'racist'.
